You should check the subreddit of Dogecoin /r/dogecoin, there's a lot of pretty good informations there as well as a a ranking of the pools one of the best being dogehouse.org and luckyminers

Is this kind of mining issue starting to happen to everyone? I just switched pools thinking it may be the one I was in (doge.gentoomen.org), but if it's happening at other pools, I don't know. How much does an increase in difficulty affect mining rate? I recall it being around 150 when I joined on Friday, and now it's up near 330.

it's quite normal that diff. spikes (many new mines with much bigger hash rate).

Yeah I figured that could be it. I just wasn't sure if a 2X difficulty increase would cause the drop from the few-thousand-doge-coin income I was getting to the currently zero I've currently been receiving today.
