Hi I have a question, I wonted to  verify my account at bitstamp and the easiest would be a to use a bank statement.
Now I talked to some people and they sad that one should never give away the bank statement, as it could lead to identity theft.
Is that true? Can I blank out my bank account number when sending them the statement and would that make it safe?

Thanks in advanced!
