Hey guys,

I've been doing some research and am looking to enter the world of Bitcoin mining. The product Fast-Hash-One Platinum 256 GH/s PCI-E Module from Virtual Mining Corporation is likely going to be my first purchase. There have been some barriers of entry in my quest to start mining. It mostly revolves around not having bitcoins and most manufacturers of mining hardware requiring Bitcoins to purchase their goods.

So what are your thoughts on the 256 GH/s module as a first purchase? And how can I alleviate my troubles with purchasing?

Thanks for your help,

Dan

Hello Dan,

For my opinion, it is better not to get into the mining business if you don't own a lot of space in a house and lots of money for purchasing high speed rigs.  Otherwise, you most likely cannot earn back the money you spend under such high difficulty.

You can go to this website to check how long you can make the break-even:
