Mining Bit or Alt Coins With Xbox360 Running Linux?

I used to be on the mod scene and remembered that you can load Linux on the Xbox 360 system.

Do you guys think the GPU or CPU would be fast? And would the Linux versions of mining software be compatible?

About as fast as a calculator LOL... Don't even bother unless you just want to fry the 360.

It's an extra one that's laying around so it can fry..but if its not even worth my time then nvm :/

I have never heard of anyone using a 360 to mine with.  A ps3 will do 38khs and I would imagine the xbox would be similar.  If you could get the xbox ati gpu to mine it could go a little faster, however I don't know if cgminer is setup to mine the gpu.  Try it, thats the best I can say.
