if you would like to mine bitcoin, which i would not suggest with just one erupter, you would go to the pool and click the get started link. It will point you in the right direction.

I would suggest mining a low diff, high reward alt coin. And hope that it becomes popular and put on an exchange.

go to http://ispace.co.uk/ they have a bunch of sha-256 coins. I mine beta coins myself, but I have 5 erupters and its still slow going.

Do you know where there is a list of SHA coins? What are WDC and DVC?

You can use it with bfgminer to mine any SHA-256 based coin. I suggest you don't waste that money instead buy some bitcoins or litecoins now ($500-600 per bitcoin or $16-17 per litecoin) because the price is going to skyrocket in 2014 when all events are over because people are selling now and causing low buy prices.

Can I mine Litecoin?

you cannot use it for scrypt coins such a litecoin. just sha-256 coins.

Here's a few - https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/179-sha-256-cryptocoins/
Maybe Namecoin NMC it's listed on https://btc-e.com/
When mining site Coinex comes back online Monday they have a list at top of their site, easy to switch coins etc plus there also a trading site https://coinex.pw/mining/pools

What do you guys think this could do as far as mining? I plan on using it for coin creation but could it start off as a miner or would that be a waste?

Use gpus to mine litecoins or asics in the th/s range to mine bitcoins. Anything else is just a waste of money.

Hi,

To find out what the most profitable coins are, please check out one of these:

http://coinwarz.com
http://wheretomine.com
http://dustcoin.com/
http://coinchoose.com

For your 336 MH/s it seems you should go for tigercoin right now
You would then already have 1 bitcoin in only 2,748 days :-) !
(not taking into account increasing difficulty ;-) )

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256HashRate=336.00&sha256Power=500.00&sha256PowerCost=0.1000&scryptHashRate=0&scryptPower=0&scryptPowerCost=0&sha256Check=true&scryptCheck=false

Good luck :-)
