I just want to learn how to mine and make a YouTube video about how to use a block erputer so that people will know how

I plan on making my own coin and mining it from day one as well as getting a 30 GH/s erupter block and eventually a fleet of them

First pick a coin you want to mine. Then ill tell you the next steps

ASIC coin

1) Register Here:
http://mining.mike.kz/

2) Create a Worker on the Pool
3) Download MultiMiner (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=248173.0) and the listed drivers for your Erupter Blade
4) Install MultiMiner and Erupter Blade
5) Run MultiMiner. It will show you a Getting Started form. Fill the details ie select Asic Coin, Put the Pool URL ,Username and Password.
6) If Drivers installed successfully you should see your blade in the listed devices.
7) In the top corner Press start to start mining.

If you need help in the way send me your TeamViewer info and Ill help you out.

why not get a 7950 you can get 600 MH/s with that  

He's a newbie and wants to just try mining some coin to get the hang of it.

And the price issue how much would that cost? And could I use bitcoins to buy it? I don't have much yet but I do have a lot of stuff on the way I am going to start making mining videos and altcoin apps for phones So soon I may be able to afford better machines but I plan on getting a 30 GH/s machine soon So I am not sure if getting a 600 MH/s machine would even be worth while Should I get something like that or just skip the gap because if I am not mistaken 30 GH is 30,000 MH right? Or at least 3000

The problems with mining bitcoins:
1) Very high difficulty so you have to have alot of money to invest into a mining rig
2) Mining rigs don't reach on expected date. Users here have waited upto one year to get their bfl miners. When they got them they were totaly useless because of high difficulty.

My advice:
Invest in getting a gpu-powered rig. You can mine sha-256 (Bitcoin) as well as Scrypt (Litecoin). You can mine some other altcoin as well if you see it booming. Also if you become bored or difficulty rises too much you can sell the gpu's for a good price.

I don't see why 30,000 MH/s wouldn't be enough to mine altcoins Plus again I am making my own coin So mining my own coin is the main plan

I might get some GPUs in the future but I don't know how to build them So I will have to wait until someone explains that or until I get extra money and decide to take a shot at it

Tell me how much money are you going to invest into that rig. I assume you are going to buy asic's ,problem is delivery dates.

If you have asic then your coin would have to be in sha-256. BTW do you have any programming experience? Believe me it is a very difficult task to create a innovative coin.

Edit: I can help you with the GPU setup plus the forum is full of informative threads you can read.

Block erupter cube I am not sure if it is ASIC it is a block erupter not from BFL but it will cost be around $1000 which is ok with me because I'd like to mine most of the first 10% of the coin myself before others notice it is something So that I can give away free coins which will make the coin even more popular

Yes SHA and I already know how I will make my coin innovative I have a target audience that needs this I will just clone bitcoin and change the name and values

If you can help with the GPU I just need it someone to explain what it is? The best way to do it would be to build a computer from scratch right? Could I do it with parts from Amazon and make a bad ass one? How many GPUs can be connected to one computer? Does that last question even make sense?

Those are standard Graphics Cards (also called a GPU) that people use in everyday computers. Lots of people buy powerful GPUs to play video games.

Since they are very good at computing certain algorithms, people use them for mining some Crypto-Currencies. Originally Bitcoin was just mined with CPUs (Processors that are in every computer), until it supported GPU mining (which was faster). Now Bitcoin is primarily mined with ASICs (special hardware build especially for mining bitcoins).

GPUs are useful for mining a variety of Altcoins. Litecoin (LTC) for example.

GPUs connect to a computer Motherboard (every computer has a motherboard), and require that the motherboard supports the GPU (as long as the motherboard is <3 years old it will probably work with any GPU), that there is enough room in the computer case for the GPU card (because GPU cards can be kinda big), and that the computers Power Supply Unit (PSU) has enough power (and the right connectors) for the GPU (in general, any PSU at or over 500W and made within the past <3 years should work with almost any GPUs).

AMD is a company that makes GPUs. The other company is NVidia. AMD GPUs are better for mining Altcoins than NVidia GPUs, so you should look into those.

I don't know if this makes a ton of sense, but at least I gave it a shot.
