Hello! I'm new here, haven't really done much of anything with cryptocurrencies before, but signed up as a part of signing up as a writer on devtome to get devcoins. In general I am a fairly versatile programmer, I mainly work in java during the day, but am capable of working with basically any language given the time, and have a bit more experience in C, C++, and javascript. Regardless if you're looking for someone to set up a website, or program anything in general, and want to pay them in bitcoins, or if you have any cryptocurrency related business ideas or perhaps were even thinking of starting your own altcoin, you should shoot me a PM and maybe we can work together Smiley

Hi there! I'm also new (just signed up), and in a pretty similar situation. Looking into cryptocurrencies because they are very interesting technically, and also because I have dabbled in quant and fx trading in the past, and I can see similarities. Otherwise, I work mainly in Java and Scala, have some professional experience in C and C++ (C++ recently recaptured my attention after a ten-year hiatus because C++11 finally got some things right), and have played with more than forty other languages. I have some time currently, and I'll use it to learn from this forum and hopefully contribute to it and the field.

I am likely to have some upcoming tasks for C++ programmers at CIYAM (http://ciyam.org) so if you have some spare time consider forking the repo and then getting in touch with me via PM.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

Hello fellow coders, would recommend you take a look at Ian's site CIYAM.

I'm in a similar boat myself.  Welcome to the Monkey House!

 Cheesy... Monkey House. It reminds me more of this place;
