Please help, I am trying to find Bitcointalk profile URL and ID
You should be able to see your profile url and ID by clicking profile, you will be redirected to your profile page then click show last posts of this person. In that url, the numbers after the u= is your ID and your profile link is from the start of the url up to the numbers after the u=. In my case, it redirects into this url when I clicked show last posts of this person: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=998363;sa=showPosts and to get my profile url, all I need to do is to omit ";sa=showPosts" to get my profile url. In my case, my bitcointalk user ID is 998363. |

Click on the profile to show stats
Then you delete the "sa = statPanel" section then it is your profile url
|

Follow the instruction...click 1 and then 2 ....you will get the answer(3) on the top bar....  Click on ur profile ----- then left side there is a option "summary",click that----- copy the url till the now-- that is ur profile id https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1476876;sa=summary |

right click on your name in this post. copy the link and this is your bitcointalk profile link..

After opening your account click on the profile and then click for the second time on
Forum Profile Information
Now for the link of the account go to the top on browser and copy the link that is in the form of:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXXX;sa=forumProfile
For the id to check link : XXXXXX, the numbers that appear to you on the link of forumProfile is your id number.

I think when somebody do the first post a pop up should come "How to find your bitcointalk Profile". But still I do not think it will reduce these kind of threads because all these users will be good in ignoring the pop ups and still go on asking the question. |
