 Grin why it surprise you?
just take notice 3 facts.
1.
still try to buy/sell - 50,000-100,000 BTC?  Grin
2. when 8K(only 70 mil. USD) of BTC was sink from MTGOx account it drop down the BTC price from 9,8k USD to 8,4K USD.(not 100% confiremed)
Are you still buy/sell - 10,000BTC?  Grin
3. The amount of $ 1,000,000 would have in 100 Dollar Notes a weight of 10.00 kg (22.05 pounds). A single stack of money with 10,000 new banknotes would be 1.00 m (1.09 yards) high und would have a volume of at least 10.35 litres (10.94 quarts).
Are you still buy/sell - 100-200-500-1000BTC in cash in public place?  Grin

That is true in every places dude. If you find the place where you do not know the people using anything there these kind fake transaction and shows to attract the people but some are still legit one too mate.

As the above person said still there are people to buy the bitcoins in high volume more than 100 BTC mate.
Whenever we comes to trade with the forum members we can use the escrow available here like the ognasty so there is no one to scam you mate.
