With all these bitcoin conferences and the speed of the technology, I think we'll have a lot this sort of martial in the coming years.

i'd like to think that 2014 and beyond will be kind to bitcoins, but i think using the internet for comparison doesn't quite work so well. the main difference - and it's a huge one - is that government welcomed the internet with open arms; with bitcoin, it is not likely so.
