One thing i understand about this currency is gaining more community support, because a lot of tokens nowadays are ERC20 based, so it means whether the market is down or not many are patronizing the platform, in due time it will soar in its price value, and still be the number 2 of coinmarketcap. Comparing the two, i hold both cryptocurrencies because of the lots of factors. By this time, ETH is falling in its prices, comparing the prices in previous months., but little by little they are going upward. This happenings in the market is normal, and will likely be normal in the long run. I suggest to HOLD it for now, because some predicts that it will going upward in the next few months. Having said that, ive read a lot of reviews on the internet that ETH will be more valuable in the next coming months.

Id say to myself, I HOLD this for some time., waiting the good sign from the market.

Ethereum is a solid coin, its not going to crash and burn to nothing.

Look at the coins that make up the Ethereum Alliance, there are some top class projects in there, each running on the Ethereum blockchain.

It will certainly have some competition from coins such as ADA and NEO once more projects are released on their chains, but that's good, we want to have a spread of blockchains to stop overloading the transactions.

If there is a n number of coins without any limit, you could speculate that it could even over come the market capitalization of stock market  . The only problem with ETH is that they are too centralized and experimental without any consensus, if they are moving from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake i might reconsider my position. Apart from the price i am just looking at the long term feasibility and growth and if they have a clear vision the price will automatically increase, i am looking at Vitalik's new paper about Casper which has a hybrid PoW/PoS system.

I am still not sure what is the major difference between ETC and ETH when it comes to technology, the only difference i see now is different teams are monitoring their progress moving forward and i am not sure why i do not see any tokens created with ETC. I am not having a bullish future with ETH, i think it has some restrictions as a currency and that is the main hurdle for it not to go up like bitcoin.

Continue to hold until POS migration and i will believe if you will be seeing a big surprise when it will be moving to the POS (hybrid) system with no inflation. Ethereum just like a big bull to the bitcoin right now.
When the total supply will have determined and it's just like a time bomb to the ethereum holders.
