I take it you mean, what is their position in relation to the American Studies Association joining the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign? I'm not sure they have one, other than believing it to be newsworthy enough to report it.

Yes, Democracy now is also a very good news organization.

I also occasionally follow The Young Turks: http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks/videos. They do some pretty decent reporting and commentary, and they have also started Wolf Pack (http://www.wolf-pac.com/), with the idea of getting money out of American politics.

Never looked at this site.  I do like zerohedge, is it anything like that?  I Am a big fan of news that is not MSM but I also don't like the conspiracy junk that some people follow.  The truth is usually somewhere in between.

As for conspiracy theories, no, they don't seem to cover that, fortunately.

I find zerohedge to be balanced. I generally stay away from anything promoting democracy as the word itself has several conflicting meanings.
