Hi all, I"m wondering how many GPU my power supply can support. I have a 630W RaidMax http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152035

which is powering a GTX 660 TI (150 Watts max according to nvidia website)

I guess my PSU could probably handle another  200W rated GPU such as 5850, 5870, etc.

Do you think it can also handle a 3rd, like a hd 5770? (only requires 108 watts)

edit: after doing much research, it seems adding 3rd GPU might be pushing it, even if that gpu only takes 108 W

528w max on the 12v rail... Nevermind that running it near capacity for extended periods will burn out your PSU quickly.

Likely your PSU rating is overstated. Don't even bother mining with the 660TI. That's worth what 180MH/s? Not worth the power costs, even if *you* aren't paying the power bill.

Ok guys, I guess the consensus is to not add any more GPU Smiley

Well I recently bought a 750W Corsair HX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010

This can handle two GPU right? 6870 x2 or 5850 x2

Thanks
