Put together a little tool today to help people browse and keep track of some popular faucets they might use. http://faucetsurfer.tkEssentially, it's a collection of (at the moment) 60 working bitcoin faucets. Simply fill in your address (optional of course, it's just so if you're copying and pasting, you can find it again easily), and click the "Get Started" button. You'll then be presented with a bitcoin faucet. Do you want on that page, then when you're done, click "Next Faucet" at the top. Simple! Anyway, let me know if you find it useful or if you've got any suggestions or critique. **Update** Apologies if the site was buggy for anyone over the last few hours, I've been rolling out an update, and then fixing bugs after I rolled it out Anyway I've added a couple of extra features, like a sidebar list of all the faucets so you can get to each one individually if you want, rather than having to click through the whole thing. Oh and also a cooldown timer for the faucets. There might still be a few more bugs, but if you find one, kindly pm me and I'll work on a fix

I've got to try and make BTC somehow lol. Why not just wait a few seconds to see the faucet, or even use the 'preview link' option on the top right?

Have you calculated?

Well everyone knows you won't make much BTC from faucets alone - a lot of people can't buy proper mining equipment because they can't afford it, so using these faucets is good for those just getting into them. Anyone that can get decent mining equipment/resources or is rich enough to buy them (with fiat currency) are very lucky - I'd rather get BTC that way but I can't. At the moment Bitcoins are just a hobby - I have my job as a web developer and being a student keeping me busy. Once I graduate and get f/t work, I plan to invest more in BTC.
EDIT: There is more than one way of making BTC besides surfing faucets, e.g. offering services in stuff you're good at, monetising websites and getting traffic to them (targeted niche-related), posting flyers about BTC and advertising a referral link... There's plenty of ways out there.

Cool. I know how to make money (or BTC), I was just curious since you are the developer of a faucet related site, whether you had any ideas of what could be earned. No problem.

My interest in BTC was dormant until a couple of months ago when it skyrocketed in value. The best ways I know how to earn BTC are utilising my skills as a web developer (e.g. creating web applications) and S.E.O (my client doesn't pay me in BTC though). If you're a really good writer (which I'm not lol), you can write some good articles about BTC, S.E.O them a bit, and them monetise them with CoinURL/A-ads etc. Get some traffic to them and you'll make some spare change. An ideal way would be to get a mining rig set up to make BTC (and hope it makes a profit, after electricity and other costs are accounted for).

Do you try any of these faucets yourself? I was curious so I went through half of these faucets and ended up with 2 viruses, 10 blank pages, 7 dried up faucets/broken. I put in my address for at least 10 of these and 24 hours later I have received a total of 0.00000000 BTC from these. I totally get lead generation and affiliate registration paths...have you made any money off this site? Do you think the money you've made is worth the reputation hit you'll take from the whole user experience under-performing? Help me understand the value in this and how to get a better experience from your site.

Yes actually, I've tried ALL of the faucets personally. Not once have I picked up a virus, not once have I picked up a blank page, and I'm aware of a couple at the moment that are dry, but I'm waiting to see if they refill first. And, I've been paid out by at least 31 of the faucets on there. If you find any that are unscrupulous, not paying, or anything else dodgy, by all means let me know - I'll then investigate and remove them if necessary.
