Hi,

I read a lot of threads which many people said they could not mine EAC as many as possibe. People tends to think that EarthCoin is yet another Doge. People can mine 500k - 1 mil EAC in a day. No it is impossible.

E.x:

Quote
The pool says I'll get 1mil EAC / day, but after 12hours of mining I 've just got ~ 100k EAC

This guy has a extremely powerful rig: 30 000 KH/s (99% of you guys has a tiny rig compared to his)

Why?

+ Not like Doge but Diamond (DMD), EAC diff adjustment is made every block (simply put: minute). The diff will be very high in a very short of time if network hashrate grows very fast
+ EAC is a trap to multipools. It makes multipools unprofitable
+ EAC is designed in a way so you can not mine as many as possible in a short of time and sell it off. You need to be long term miners
+ Profit calculator (EAC per day) does not work for EAC because diff adjustment is made very fast to adapt network hashrate

So, if you look at the profit calculator, you should expect that you receive much less EAC per day. If you think you can sell EAC for cheap price like with Doge, you are a loser.

If you like my explanation, donate me: eX8dPm2u4KeFH9UXc9rd3CRB2z9KWU6khh

Thanks

PS: I will try to trade 1 EAC for 0.00000561 BTC when it hits an exchange

Updated:

2 days after launch

KH/s           EAC/day (estimated, actual earnings can be much less than that)
104438 KH/s     2 733 514  --> 140 cards 7950
8948                234 196     --> 12 cards 7950

That's why EAC is hard to mine

Why would you "reserve" a spot for a simple conversation about coin pricing?

Yep, definitely much harder to mine than Doge. Was faster first day because of 5x payout but now it's pretty low.

over 24 hours of mining and less than 1000. Yes, it's realy more hard than Dogecoin / billcoin. But, someone start mining doge coin today don't see difference between mining doge and earth. So, for him, he have around same value.

I am bad at speculating, but I would say many times doge price because of difficulty. (Assuming people assign any value to it at all)

I'm fairly sure it will gain value with all the publicity around it.

DOGE price is constantly dropping and i don't think it will go up anytime soon (if it ever will). For me, DOGE is flash in the pan.
EAC on the other side has an interesting concept with repetable x5, x3, x2 payouts, which will keep the coin alive (at least at high payout days) and interesting for trading.

O so this is the flavor of the week hey? Good thing I mined a few 100K to dump Smiley Just because you started a topic asking people not to do so.

It will be interesting to see how this coin is actually valued when it gets to an exchange. Has anyone been working on convincing an exchange to add it?

I'd say for the health of the coin it would actually be better if it doesn't reach an exchange for at least a week. That will give people a chance to see how hard it actually is to mine, instead of judging it by the x5, x3 and x2 launch days.

The problem is, that everyone knows that the devs are sitting on 300 million of them and that the price would drop to below zero if they decided to dump some of them. The first giveaway was a good start (I received 20k of them, thx).

I hope that the developers will not do it in 2 years. They can not sell such a huge amount of coins. There will be not enough Bitcoin

Those amount of pre-mined coins should be used to give away to supporters. it should help expand community a lot

Yeah, don't sell them. Sleep on them.

Cryptsy will add it first. There is a ticket on Cryptsy feature request forum. Therefore it will be added soon

It may be added, nobody can't say for sure. They don't add every single coin from that forum.
