Hi guys,

Looks like we are all in similar situations.  I've been reading the forum (lurking) for some time, but never registered.  I started acquiring BTC about a year ago and now that I'm actually getting into mining other cryptos, I want to be able to interact in the forum just in case I have some questions.

Good luck to you both... may all your days be filled with fruitful (profitable) mining.  Grin  See you around the forum.

Cheers,

Timoprinz

Thanks for your answers.

I'm going to test the billioncoin.
I doge 40K but I was disappointed after the Friday crash not anticipated. I do not know if I have more trust to keep the BIL but we'll see!
Good luck to you

Same here.

Lets see if the value of Doge rises again. I think I will invest some money as they are really cheap right now.
Bitcoin learned me a hard lesson with its rise so I slowly start to gaining interest in other crypto currencies.

@ThaTr1kz
How much is the mining difficulty at this time?

Hey,

Doge miner reporting in!
I am quite new  in mining but I've read much about it.
First I've tried to mine bitcoins with my (quite old) hardware, without much success. I also had a (irl) chat with some insiders, they told me that bitcoin mining only makes sense when you've got tons of ASICs and GPUs.
so I tried dogecoin, because I like doge. I've also successfully mined some dogecoins already Cheesy

I never thought it would be fun to mine coins and use them. I see a bright future with these currencies, mining and seeing your coins go up is just so awesome!

I'm mining dogecoins with a crappy laptop using cpu.

It produces like 15 coins a day. It's depressing. But it's not that much taxing on the performance so I'll let it mine. I want to get big into mining though, but I'm late for the bitcoin party for never believing on it. First time I've heard about it, it was worth less than 1 euro, and I laughed at it =(

Hi all,

Like most of you here, I've been reading the forum for a while but have not registered until today. What a great community there is here and loads of resource info.  Also quite disappointed with dogecoin, especially since the crash. Early days though so i hope it will pick up! All the best for your mining adventurers!

Hello everybody! I just heard about bitcoin a few months back , but didn`t give it any attention. As a hobby I was doing binary option trading, and more platforms started to include bitcoin as a binary option, so I started to reasearch it. I was so sad that I lost the bitcoin train, but so happy that I found out about the world of cryptocurrency wich is very interesting Roll Eyes Having free electricity and some shitty hardware, I started mining dogecoins even if I am on nvidia gtx 460, I still get 99-100khash/s so It`s not so bad. I`m thinking in buying one amd 79xx series just for experimenting in the altcoin univers, even though it`s too late for mining Litecoin, Dogecoin keeps me going. Even if I`m a newb in this cryptoworld, I studied software engineering so for newbies like me that have an Nvidia GTX460 or something similar, pm me and maybe I can help you with your cudaminer settings on windows 32/64. Good mining to all of you!
