Pool is working fine. Is solo mining making sense at around 100kh?

You want less fees? - You want a stable currency? - You want a fair distribution of raised funds? - You want anonymous transactions and communication? - You want so much more that doesn't fit in this line and will look crappy when writing it down because it will just be so much? - JOIN RADIX!

A bit confused here. I started mining @4x40kH/s with http://sec.mine-pool.net:9372 a few hours ago but received no payouts in the past 4 hours.
Anybody else had that problem?

Just a few minutes ago, I started with stratum+tcp://sec.forkpool.com:6030 to see if that works better. Hopefully it does

And another question: some of you seem to solo mine. Apart from the question whether or not that makes sense with only 100-150kH/s, I would like to ask: how do you solo mine?
Do you put minerd into your QT folder and then use the "mining"-button in QT?

agreed
I've been mining at 2.5kh on http://sec.mine-pool.net but I'm wondering if solo with 5.5kh would be more beneficial

I am too impatient I think ....   I am getting around 550khash, and after 2 hours didn't hit a block so switched to pool.  In 3 hours I have received 44SEC ...

Hi guys

we open a new topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=381587.0 for the official update .

Im buying all SEC, find me in IRC. #secondscoin on freenode.

btw thanks for new pool, the old pool hasnt paid me for the last 6hrs........

can someone make a pool with login and workers, this p2pool shit is anoying, and un trustworthy.

last transaction i got from pool mining was:

Code:
Status: 499 confirmations
Date: 23/12/2013 08:56
Source: Generated
Credit: 0.37138 SEC
Net amount: +0.37138 SEC
Transaction ID: e596036c12faad59b29cba013890a1f48020007f0e21f71e7db3ed79744936f5

Something seems dodgy there.....
When your paying 50cents a hour for cloud servers with 8 cores.... 4hrs downtime on a pool is unacceptable.
