Is my GPU power generating bitcoins still or is it stuck on confirmations or something.

It's normal. That number will continue to increase, it's the number of blocks that have been created since the transaction. The number of confirmations should be about 6 times the number of hours that have passed.

My oldest transaction, .05 from the bitcoin faucet, has 2888 confirmations. What's the oldest transaction anybody here has?

but your initial question was answered to your full satisfaction, wasn't it?
so i'd suggest close the topic to keep the forum tidy.

your last remark is about mining, right?
you might consider joining a mining pool, that would bring in some "daily" reward
or you keep mining solo and wait even longer as you do now
