Trading Bot - EMA parameters

Hi folks,
Have you experimented with different values for EMA (MACD) trading strategy ?

Mostly default trading parameters for MACD are 12/26/9 for hourly sampling and buy/sell threshold 0.05.
I have found topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=67591.msg2577828#msg2577828 where user rikigst have developed past data simulator for different values, but link is offline.
