I don’t think the same as you are thinking because there are doctors or psychiatrists present in this world who are for the insistence of these gambling addicts. If we know someone who is already addicted in gambling, we can really help them in fact they really need someone to help them. Just to add as well, if you really wanted to quit, it should start from inside of you, admit it to yourself that indeed you are addiction and the second step is that admit it you needed help to finally stop this disease or addiction. Everyone has an addiction but it will really take a lot of mental discipline to really put a end into it. What if you are susceptible because that how your environment is in this first place. You need to have that mental toughness not to get tempted again to put that bet and get suckered around. I don't know about the mental care though, I don't think it will be effective as controlling and managing your demons inside of you.

Nice article OP. Though,  I still think that gambling is not as bad as what most people view it as cause it mostly seems as a game of fine but as you know too much of everything is bad. The one big mistake that  most gamblers make  is the mistakes of becoming addicted into gambling because they don't know when to stop and also know when the game becomes intoxicating to them.
