Yes, I understand too that you can go to a website that creates these for you ... I figured folks would want to be a bit de-leverage from having a 3rd party knowing the private key. Granted I have you use goqr.me website to create a QR code, but at least its a bit more secure considering they would have to do some correlation between the address and private key if they were keeping all transactions server side.
