Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Thanks Speedminer, seems like iCoin already has more network hash then most currencies on the exchanges. Very positive indeed!

The block reward problem (only being half) is fixed on the speedminers.org pool. Missed a setting in my config. Growing pains... but server is really solid so please join again for a sweet mining experience! Please have another go, and let me know should you encounter any other problems so I can fix this! Working really hard to make this the best icoin mining pool available.

I'm seeing some weird behavior. I've been in the pool for several hours now and at first I earned a few coins, but now my hash rate is reporting as zero in the dashboard and I haven't earned any more coins. Yet the miner is still processing blocks at 760KH/s. Any ideas? edit: Seeing an active hash rate again after restarting cgminer. Either way it was detecting accepted blocks. Oh well

Hi, last bonus block 22000 found by xenomorph113 on our pool!
During the block reward period we were able to give away a total of 61.800 iCoin bonus payouts, equalling 618 blocks. Congrats to the winners, and on to the next rewards between block 23000 - 24000.
Happy mining!
