Bitcoin ATMs work like smart atm’s. Well, where I’m from we have smart atms these atms basically allow you to deposit and withdraw from them. The only difference is that you are depositing for bitcoin and withdrawing bitcoin. Although most of the atm’s fees are high so I would suggest using an exchange service in order to keep fees as low as possible to maximize the bitcoin you can get.

I think Bitcoin ATMs work the same way as ATMs selling gold in Dubai. These ATM trees link to an own online wallet and store a certain amount of Bitcoin.
