Finally returned from vacation and unwrapped my coins



The boxes are very nice and would be a great gift just as they were delivered.

All in all super happy with the purchase!

Soon casascius will be offering similar.
I don't care for the copper, also the design I dislike.

In future production you may want to consider a more agreeable design and gold plating.

Or you could make custom kits for the $6-$10 gold plated unloaded casascius lookalikes that are being mass produced and sold on ebay.

I received my coin and damn, it's beautiful and it has a great weight. Currently trying to get that darn casing open.

I don't want to complain or anything, but the backside of my coin looks quite scratched... It also has number 0037, but my order number is 450. Did I get a returned bullion or is it just me acting crazy?

1) The Air-tite case (these are brand name, and not a cheap knock-off) is a bit of a pain, which is why I don't ship the coin in it (since you would need to take the coin out to apply the hologram). Running a sharp edge along the seam usually works in helping pry the case open.

2) Yes, you can use the label generator located HERE. The label generator is client-side and does not generate bitcoin wallet addresses. You need to use a wallet address generator such as bitaddress.org for that. The full instructions on generating, printing, and applying labels/hologram are located HERE. Up until a few days ago, I was not including a paper printout of the instructions, but just directing customers to the instructions page on ravenbit.com. However, shipments going forward will all include a paper printout of the instructions. The instructions look a bit daunting, but everything is really very simple -- I'm going to post a video of the process soon, so that that is more evident.
