I've been mining for a couple days now and was wondering what do you guys consider as safe temps, at what temps does the gpu get too hot.  Also How long do you keep your cards running, is it ok to run it at 97% load 24/7?
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Your cards will die much faster if you don't keep them below ~70*C or below.  Look up the maximum recommended operating temperature for your card. most ATI raedon HD is 70*C
