trade volume is higher than i have ever seen it on coinedup right now. 120 + million MEOWS have been traded in the past hour. a lot of people are buying cheap coins right now. hope the whales are the only ones selling at these prices.

its a whale trying to get a bunch of cheap coins so he can dump once the price goes way up. whoever it is obviously reads the forums and knows what is going on. best thing to do is just buy all of his cheap coin and put very high sell orders so he cannot buy any cheap coins back.

I am definitely holding because I'm too stubborn... but honestly no one knows where the price is going. It's always a gamble, even with this.


Whales are manipulating the price now, but whales can also manipulate the price once it hits cryptsy too right? I can see the pice jumping to 200-300 satoshi after getting on cryptsy and then crashing to 30-40 within minutes.... would not surprise me at all.


Maybe I should just hold all my meow for the rest of the year and not deal with these manipulating bastards. This coin has good support and is likely to last.. I'm considering just holding for long term like I'm holding BTC

This is why I sold out a week ago (not that I had that much, it's more about the principle) - I am still interested in following MEOW because of the community growth process is what I am tracking more than the price, but come on folks.  The point of this relaunch was that there were mistakes made in the original release of the coin that allowed it to be almost instamined, so there are like 3 or 4  billion MEOW out there that were acquired for nothing or for close to 1 or 2 Satoshis.  The relaunch isn't going to remove any of those coins from the market as far as I can tell, and in addition it will cut the total number of coins by half, so all it does is make their coins at least twice as valuable than they were before! Now you want to *reward these cheaters* by *buying* their coins after doing them the favor of relaunching MEOW at possibly double its value?  I don't.  How can you realistically believe they aren't going to see the relaunch as d-day (for dump-day), given all this.  I think they should sit on them and watch as they drop under 10 satoshis, then they will finally sell for what little they can get, and they will already have missed their chance to get in on other coins the released in the meantime, with their money tied up in a MEOW cheat that didn't go anywhere.

Don't think for a second that one or more of these 'whales' aren't reading this very thread every day, and probably even trolling in it with optimistic, encouraging messages. A single message that makes people hold or buy in more MEOW could be worth an extra 10% profit to them, how can you not think this doesn't happen?  It's wishful thinking to believe that they won't come in here and act all astonished and tell everyone to keep hoping etc etc.  You should never rule out dishonesty as being a part of any *coin release, until you have actually thought through the whole thing and ruled it out by process of elimination.  You can't rule it out with MEOW.  To be fair you can't rule it out with any of them 100%, but the % is a lot lower than 100 with MEOW.  

The best you can hope for is to ask CoinedUp to delist MEOW altogether and crush the price to nothing.  Pull the rug out from under the scammers, let it cool off and see if you can relaunch for real in a couple weeks.  Or you can hope that somehow between now and Monday, more than 2,000,000,000 MEOW get sold off by whales (the dump today was only 10% of that number!)  and the price is back to something that is attractive for new buyers.

Coinedup, fyi, compared to coinex and cryptsy is small. With bad server(s) and well, all that dwells low volume.
No serious guy will deposit 50BTC there and invest due to simple reasons: site does not work good enough.
I'm not saying anything - it's a marvelous piece of web, coming from a web programmer as I am; but it's just a low2mid-range exchange with no real volume.

Basically - in few days, we'll see how this goes.
Due to all math - my guess - 150-200 per MEOW is something that could hold. But some patience is needed, not even strong hands, as this current data is irrelevant.
Aside all speculative price increase coming from halving.

also it was very risky to invest at even 1-2 satoshi since coinedup was going to remove BTC/MEOW which at that time looked like it would be the end of MEOW.

If this is true, then I don't understand why there is a relaunch?  Who does the relaunch benefit?

Now he can buy all from 49-41 (making already a profit), and trying to buy even cheaper. Or he'll pull that 20btc and put it at 40 (not all at the same time). Probably he has some at 41, he will remove the amount at 41, when price will go down to 41.

You need like a few btc to drive the price up/or down 10-20 satoshi. And a bunch more to profit when the price is right to sell/buy.

let's say he has 200mil, and he'll play with 50mil. 2btc needed to drive the price down and up again (20satoshi difference, low volume asking/selling between 40-60 satoshi).
He drives the price to 40 (2btc spent), buying 50mill spending 20btc.
Now he can wait and price will go up naturally, or spending probably 1 btc to drive it to 60. Even if he sell's at 60, he made around 6btc in an hour. Probably 10btc (spending a little more meow).

You can check, history graph of meow last 10 days, every time whales was willing to play, price was driven down to 40-35, then quickly back up. When meow reaches another exchanges, he can't do that no more, because people will look other exchanges before selling low.

Lol he's not a holder of meow waiting for something to happen, for price to go up, he'll try to earn every day 10btc.  

Most people wait with a few btc for of meow to rise quite a bit, to make some more. Whale needs only 10 satoshi difference, to make easy 5btc. If he invests 20-30btc. That's like 15% gain in 1 hour.
