Pool just go down?
pool still works for me. No new blocks being discovered. I noticed that too...I just leave it on and every once in a while I'll get a transaction As long as I see my shares going up and my unpaid shares going up. I've been good for the last couple hours.

I don't think the main dev is quite as important. What is really important is finding multiple programmers/web developers willing to create services for the coin. Bitcoin's creator is MIA after all, and it hasn't slowed development . Honestly if a coins community is active enough, I think you will see programmers and previous services getting involved. Having said that, I think a good place to start is by creating a forum, and doing a new logo design contest!

Nowadays alts are pumped out at such a rate that sucess is generally based on the dev being good

Actualy, i just did this for fun. If you want to help, don't tell me my questions are stupid and dont answer them. Answer them, then tell me im stupid. Also, arent cryptocurrency's Open-Source? This means that anyone can help right? Then help me. Also, isn't it right that almost all cryptocurency's are based off another? I just downloaded and started mining --- feel generous? Thanks for your small donation. I have found a block not long ago and didn't appear in my wallet. Why is that?
