I am very new to Mining Coins and want to say hello to the community. "hello, guys!" Smiley

I want to give some feedback on 'cudaMiner', but I can't post in that section yet.
So I guess I will just share my experience here, until I can give feedback in the thread.

I have used 'cudaminer-2013-12-18' on my desktop pc with Gainward GeForce GTX 580 Phantom (3 GB VRAM)
The output was 281 khash/s and GPU Temp was stable at 81 °C and 71% Fan speed
(I guess i could adjust the Fan speed manually instead of using the auto-mode...)

My settings are:
cudaminer.exe -H 1 -C 2 -l F16x16

First run with autotune got me to F32x8, but after changing the '-H' and '-C' settings, autotune got F16x16.
First run got 223 khash/s with intial settings.

The only Problem I have right now, is the '-i' setting, because '-i 1' will make the driver crash after 10-15 mins;
I tried it with '-i 0' and it did work just fine for 2,5 hours. Smiley
But that is strange (in my opinion), because '-i 0' ist the 'maximum' power setting and i get higher khash/s with it.

I still have to learn more about dogecoins and mining, but it is interesting so far.
I am not aiming for high profit (just hoping ^^), because I know I can't do much with my single GPU and 281 khash/s. Cheesy

Okay... I hope I can give some feedback in the cudaMiner Thread later. (4 hours and 1 post, right?)

See ya. Smiley

I'd personally recommend forcing that fan to run at 100%. While 81 C isn't necessarily a really terrible temp for the GPU, it's NOT designed to run that hot 24/7. Get it down as low as possible if you want it to last. OH and Dogecoins are awesome. Have fun!

Is your pc case open?
I have the Coolermaster HAF 932 Tower with 3x big Fans and 2x medium fans.
GPU Idle Temp is 37 °C
GPU Gaming Temp is about 50 to 60 °C

First Time I ever got 80 °C is with cudaMiner. Smiley
But I will change the fan speed myself from now on.

Good luck, I'm running 2 x 7990 undervolted. They run at 70-75c with a large desktop fan blowing on them also. The GPU fan speed in 50%
