The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Because who ever spends them gets a reasonably good assurance that they will be untraceable.  They have no history to follow.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

I am already a bit afraid that it will go at some rather large premium and than everyone and his mother will be telling me for the next year or so "how dare you to set such high price for your bitcoins"  Roll Eyes
I'm sure you also have a little fear that next year someone will say "why did I sell it for such a low price?".
