Want to warn about this potential scam site

http://www.worldwidebitcoinwallet.com/

They had an offer that if you send coins this week then they'd triple it for free. Sounds crazy, but they're new and it's xmas so possible. I was suss as there were no 2 factor auth or just basics which a hosted wallet would have these days.

Then today they send us 0.3 coins for free. Thought again all too good to be true. Tried to send part of it out to test if they were legit and no they aren't. When you try and send out it says 'We are aware of an issue with this feature. We are working to fix it ASAP.'

I will check back and report if it does start working. But was already suss and a wallet which you can't send from is a bit of a worry.

Especially when you think of their name. Keywords which are used so often, it's hard to find them when googling

Why only this week? What would have happened if you sent the coins last week? Oh wait, you couldn't have! The site didn't exist last week! That's what we call a "clue".

Then there's this gem:
Quote from: Worldwide Bitcoin Wallet
We cannot view your balance, see your transactions or make payments on your behalf.
How can they triple your balance if they can't see it? At least they're right about not being able to make payments on your behalf. Roll Eyes

I am not on the scammers' paradise known as Telegram! Do not believe anyone claiming to be me off-forum without a signed message from the above address! Accept no excuses and make no exceptions!

Unfortunately there are lots of scam sites out there.

With time it will come as obvious when you see a site offering impossible things and you'll just skim over it.

Registrant State/Province: LONDON
Registrant Postal Code: W1J 5DU

Followed by a Google check on the address shows it to be a "Serviced Office" of some description: http://www.executiveoffices.co.uk/serviced-offices/18b-charles-st-w1j-5du

Not sure if legit though, anyone can post and address but there is a phone number listed if anyone wants to try it?

Any chance there is somebody here in or near the London area who is up for a bit of recon?
