Twitter will take the same step as facebook, if facebook succeeded in creating its own cryptocurrency and using blockchain technology. This is the same when facebook prohibits cryptocurrency ads and steps followed by twitter. Because social media should continue to update and follow technological developments, if they do not take steps to use the latest technology then I am sure social media will be abandoned by its users.

The question is roaming in my mind just after hearing that FB is going to explore blockchain and might launch their very own crypto. Like Facebook, is twitter thinking on the same way?? What do you think??I hope Twitter to be also in the industry that may take the business in another level.

Your valuable thoughts are appreciated.

I have not heard the news about facebook that will adopt the blockchain system.
or maybe I left behind this information, are there any articles or links that you can show as evidence? because I really doubt this

I think this will happen in the future because the Crypto market is bringing a lot of benefits to startups.
Facebook and Twitter decided to enter the Crypto market is a very smart decision, and the value of FB and Twitter will increase significantly. That is probably the smartest strategy of technology companies at the moment. That will make the two grow stronger.

facebook going to introduce its own crypto currency, basically thats not officially told by a representative by facebook. facebook recently banned ads related to ico's and crypto. they indirectly filter the bad things from block chain tech, most ico's scam thats why.  twitter i do not think comes to block chain. its a different.

Of course this happen. Big company’s just look at potential profits and risks. If they launch a coin they will be able to break into a new market for their business which will unlock big profits, it’s a matter of time.

I think it would be better, between facebook and twitter create and launch crypto. so we'll be more free to create ads through both.

I don't know why would they make their own crypto unless they're not making any profits which is unlikely. Just because they banned some ads doesn't always mean they'll surely make their own crypto. If Twitter is going to follow Facebook possibly making their own crypto there should've been an article for this or at least rumors spreading.

I have not heard the news about facebook that will adopt the blockchain system.

There are a lot of articles about facebook relating to crypto that you can look up. This is just one of them. The only thing confirmed is that they hired a bunch of developers but no one knows when will they release their own crypto.

I think it's natural that facebook interested in blockchain and cryptocurrency, not separated from the word "money" where there is money spinning and gives great results, the businessmen must be interested and not like fb and others, they must learn and want to increase their income . Once again cryptocurrency (blockchain) shows its quality with promising developments.

if facebook or other social media are not interested in blockchain (cryptocurrency), it is very strange to me, because blockchain is a sophisticated technology of data processing and with the presence of cryptocurrency increasingly shining in the world of commerce.
where there are things that can make a lot of money at that time that businesspeople see an opportunity

more recently, facebook was against all ICO and now ?! The potential for blocking, as it turned out, is also of interest to Facebook: the company has already appointed a project manager to investigate the possibilities of introducing technology. As it became known, David Marcus will answer for this task.
Thats how businessmen works restricting the target business to offer what they want to pursue

This is an old school strategy but still since they are big company its easy for them to manage and play this thing, and after all this is another cause for crypto to celebrate if twitter will produce own coins like faceboods

a lot of companies around the whole world will join the blockchain bandwagon eventually. many of them will be doing that only to make some money through silly things such as ICOs since they are basically a simple, free and without tax method of raising a lot of funds without doing literary anything!
but a lot of others will do it to improve their business and use the hype of this new awesome technology in their own advantage.

the question is how many of them will be successful and really improve?

Well, I believe that it's not just limited to the Facebook and Twitter but we will see some giants will be using blockchain in the coming years in order to optimize their services. In fact, blockchain might come up with the better work model that will destroy current vertical management system in companies and we will see everyone working on a horizontal level resulting in a growth in the performance. It would be something like employees working without bosses.

I also hope that twitter also uses blockchain to develop and advance their companies. so far many industrial companies and technologies that use blockchain for the progress and development of their company. if twitter also joins the blockchain it will push the price of crypto currency to be very expensive.

I know ICO banned the FBI and TWITTER, maybe they're planning to be like that. But maybe because of their lack of income here. That's why I see the reason.

Why not? I think that if Twitter will go against cryptocurrencies, that fast somebody will create another copy-paste twotter, which will support.

IMO, this Facebook's crypto is just a PR stunt or some smokescreen, there's no way people would use it over existing coins, at if it will be created, it will very likely just be some sort of centralized payment system tied to Facebook's platform. Maybe it will be used to tip other users, buy some premium features or something else. So, Twitter might actually also do something like that, or at least announce that they are into blockchain, because it's just a trendy thing to do now, but it's too early to tell whether something good will come out of it.

I agree, Twitter and blockchain makes no sense,  unlike Facebook which offers more possibilities for users.

It is imminent that this happens sooner or later, because it seems that the companies dedicated to technology have found in the blockchain a viable way to streamline their processes. In fact, I think Twitter has taken too long to make the decision to join this trend, because since Telegram announced the resounding success of its ICO many other companies dedicated to communication as Twitter should have taken note.

Although perhaps, given the discretion with which the big capital works in the business world, maybe Twitter will soon surprise us with news about it, because apparently it is urgent for Twitter to revitalize its popularity levels.
