I built a new gaming PC and used the motherboard, cpu (G530 Celeron), power supply, and GPUs (2 HIS Ice-Q 7950's)from one of my mining PCs for it. I used different RAM sticks totaling 16 GB of RAM.
I Copy and Pasted the CGminer 3.30 from a flash drive into the new computer. I added my new pool info in place of the old pool. Still using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
But it won't mine as much. I used to be able to get 630 Khash easily, and push it to 660. Now I can barely get 570. Even at powertune +20 and MSI Afterburner at +20 on Powertune. Here's my CGminer config file code:
timeout /t 2 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer --scrypt -o xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (minus my pool info and user info) -I 12 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24064,24064 --shaders 1792,1792 --gpu-engine 1000,1000 --gpu-memclock 1250,1250
When pushed as hard as 1070/1475 and intensity 19, I'd get 630 Khash, but now it won't go over 570 at best.
I tried different TC's, different clock settings, but nothing got over 570.
I tried putting --powertune 20 and -gpu 2 in the settings but that didn't help.
Any ideas what's wrong? Some might say that since the RAM is the only difference then that's it, but I don't see how that would be the problem, it's 1600 speed RAM and 16 GB, vs the 6 GB it had before.
And even though I have the intensity set at 12, it always starts as 8. The MSI Afterburner software is also cranked up, but it keeps starting at 8 intensity and I have to readjust it.
