Sent you a PM, Maged.
*sigh*

Ladies and gentlemen, this whole thing was just a big misunderstanding, combined with a MtGox bug. What Sh1337 did was send the money to his own MtGox Bitcoin address, thinking that it was the address dalamchops sent from (he didn't see dalamchops' post until after he sent it), and it was removed from the account but never re-added.

Sh1337, contact MtGox and report this bug and ask that it be re-credited to your account. Once that is done, send the Bitcoins to the address dalamchops posted.

I think you misinterpreted the information, Maged. That address is not and was not ever mine. I withdrawled the bitcoins to the same address they were SENT from.

PM me the screenshot, I'll apologize publicly if it was all a misunderstanding and i'll deal with mtgox myself.

You also said that you'd send the BTC back to the address i publicly requested, and do you realize you didn't do that?

No, I'm not misinterpreting it. MtGox shows the address that was deposited to, not the address the funds came from. It'd be dangerous if they did.

As the funds weren't ever sent to you, only Sh1337 can deal with MtGox.

Gah, fuck. What am I to do now? I have to log off and go with my family for the day... God damnit... So I guess I fucked up? Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. Sorry for my profane language. But now neither of us have bitcoins, and you're out 10. I'm sorry man. I'm sure Mt. Gox will take care of this.

It seemed like if his screen shot was accurate, he sent it back to my mtgox account instead of my wallet.

+1, that is  really putting in the extra mile as a mod to sort this for them.

Just send a support request to MtGox, and they'll re-credit your account. Again, all you did was send the coins to yourself.
It seemed like if his screen shot was accurate, he sent it back to my mtgox account instead of my wallet.
Again, that is incorrect. In fact, if you look at the very thread where you reported the "pending" issue to MagicalTux, you'll see that the address in the screen shot and the address you posted are the same.

LOL i actually took a second look and realized that. I think mt.gox will take care of this. But it's out of my control. Hopefully Sh1337 will be motivated enough to take care of this...

I hope this gets worked out. I like to think that most of the bitcoin traders on these forums are trustworthy.

Natalie, Aug-23 11:11 (JST):

Hi Calvin,

It appears that he did not send it to the address 1N3gnFVWRyN7wwUkUVUwLf7PE6gYTvf2Th as in the photo. It was sent to a different address.

Thanks,

So he is a confirmed scammer? Wasn't sure if mistakes were made or bugs, that's why I was just sitting back and watching the thread.

Why can't you just track the BTC with block explorer and end this?
