Hello! this is my first message in this forum Smiley I have a problem with my d-link usb 7 hub. I have seen here in this forum many pictures with this hub to handle 5 or 6 usb erupters. But in my case i cant plugin more than 3! If i try to plug in 4 or more then after a while bfgminer says usb failed and is dead.
I have plug this usb erupters

http://www.amazon.com/ASICMiner-Block-Erupter-USB-Sapphire/dp/B00CUJT7TO

version 3.
Have anyone any idea why this happens?
The usb works fine because i have them to my dekstop to mining for days without any problem.
Thank you for any advice

Well they need .5 A each and according to the data sheet of the hub
"It is recommended that the total combined power draw not exceed 2.4 A or 12 W"

which would still allow at least 4 block erupters.

Do you use USB Power supply or a power adapter?

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Buy any DC jack power supply and plug it in into your hub.

I was connect it through my ups that i have there pc, monitor etc.
I connect now direct to the power plug and is more stable than before. Now i can run 6 usb and i have some disconnects but bfgminer re enable them after a while. Unfortunately after an hour or more  i have one dead usb or two and bfgminer is not re enable them.
Something happen with the power of dlink and maybe the ac adapter of it. How can i set bfgminer to try to re enable usb every time?
