Hello everyone, I have been involved with bitcoins since last June and believe me, I've learned quite a bit about alternative currencies, exchange markets and of course trading goods and services. But the most important thing that I have learned is that you must Use More Lube Next Time.

About 6 days into mining bitcoins, I was out of town with family and my PSU fan completely seized up thus frying my Antec PSU. You can read more on it over at bitcoinaccidents.com. But my main message and point to this post is to convince you, my fellow miners, to practice preventative maintenance on your mining rig in order to minimize downtime thus making bitcoin that much stronger.

Just 10 minutes of downtime and one drop of oil in each fan reservoir every 3-6 months is all you need to prevent hundreds, perhaps thousands of dollars of damage from overheating. I unfortunately did not think of oiling my PSU fan and was forced to shut down my operation for 12 hours to replace my PSU.
Learn from my mistake and be sure to oil your PC and PSU fans!
Grin

With that out of the way, I am selling brand new 3oz bottles of 3-IN-ONE muti-purpose oil for use of "lubing" your PC fans.

You can also:

Protect your valuables and tools from rust and corrosion with 3-In-One No-Rust Shield. This odorless, easy-to-use rust and corrosion inhibitor migrates through an enclosed space to form an invisible layer that seals metals against air and moisture that can cause deterioration.

    * Uses metal-seeking Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitors for superior protection
    * Protects exposed metal in enclosed spaces
    * Does not harm electrical, mechanical or chemical properties
    * Great for gun cases, toolboxes, musical instrument cases and more
    * Model# 10035
    * Made in the USA

Quantity Price per item
11.2 BTC
5+1.1 BTC

Free Shipping to the CONUS via USPS. PM me with quantity and I will respond with total BTC and bitcoin address. If payment is received before 3pm EST then it will ship same day (weekdays only). Proof of shipment will be provided the same day it ships via private message.

Not gonna lie I have never heard of oil for your computer. I have been following computer technology for a while. The only other time I have heard computer and oil is the oil cooled computer ,which keeps the computer super cool.

This happened on a Saturday night and I had to wait 12 hours (9AM) for the nearest microcenter to open as it was too late for a night run Wink

Yes indeed they last a while! I was using a bottle I bought 10 years ago for oiling model train equipment and other hobby RC toys. I recently had to buy a new bottle as the old one tipped over and leaked all over in the garage Sad

Keep your caps on! Grin

I suppose this is a good idea. I'd be very cautious about adding and liquid to anything attached to my rig, plus my fans all have sealed bearings so oil would really have no positive effect

I would be really surprised if all your fans have sealed bearings. It's not terribly common.

Mineral oil isn't a conductor, so you can splatter it all over everything and it won't cause a short. Wink

What I would like to see is the little micro-bottles of oil with a  needle tip for precision application. Do you sell any of those?

I used to support a network of about 10000 old 286 machines, most with 2mb ram or such. (They were POS systems so they didn't need upgrading). We'd peel the sticker off the fan, give it a drop or two of oil, no more noise. Good for another 20 years.

Unfortunately, no. At first I was looking for those small tubes, but they only come with new electric hair/grooming kits. I finally realized that 3-in-one is essentially the same lubrication oil. A can will last for years!

You've been selling 3-in-1 oil for five months? That's pretty cool. How do you ship it? Would you be interested in trading a bottle for a 2oz bottle of Safari Charlie?
