Hi.
I got a Bi•Fury 5+ GH/s USB Miner on monday, and trying to get it to work. Windows 7 x64 on Mac Bootcamp say "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.". And the name on the Bi•Fury in windows is Unknown USB Device. Some times when i disconnect it and connect it again the name Bi•Fury comes up

So its probably the drivers, but what drivers do i need or where do i find them? im going to use bfgminer or cgminer-3.9.0,

on the readme bfgminer it say standard USB CDC on On Windows. and that i should go here store.bitcoin.org.pl/support but i cant see the drivers only the bifury_c4C.inf

And for cgminer driver installation works with zadig_v2.0.1.161 when the name Bi•Fury is in the options list all devices but most of the time its Unknown USB Device.

And when the drivers is installed and windows say no error, cgminer cant find it, i use a bat file for cgminer cgminer.exe -o http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u blabla -p blabla

In device manager its under Universal Serial Bus Devices and named bi•Fury with the zadig drivers

Searched so much on this forum but cant find the right info.  Huh

Thanks, and hope someone can point me in the right direction.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I had the same problem with my redfury when I got that, I got it working by using the program "Zadig" to force it to use the winusb driver as windows automatically assigned a driver from online which was the wrong one and bfgminer wouldnt find it.

If you're using zdiag for bfgminer, you're doing it wrong.  You only need zdiag for cgminer, because cgminer uses their own retarded drivers.

Let us know how those miners work for you. I am watching those. All I can do for now Smiley
which driver worked with them ? The DLL or Virtual Com Port jobbers ?
