Dear fellow miners,

Don’t miss out on the great opportunity to participate in our Flash Mob Mining Event and make a little bit of mining history.

The event will take place on Sunday August 21st at 9 PM (GMT).

We know we are a small pool, and we know we have been mining for an uneasy long period of time to find that block, so we understand most of you guys are mining somewhere else.

At the same time we are just like you, passionate mining enthusiasts who believe in the future of bitcoins and mining pools. So it breaks our heart to see our cool little non-profit pool lose its battle against the difficulty.

You, as a member of our group of close to 3000 miners, are able to make the difference. Doing a little bit of math, we figured if we stand together as a group and Flash Mob this block it will drop in no time.

How to participate?

The Flash Mob Mining Event will take place on Sunday August 21st at 9 PM (GMT).

Join us on our irc channel #triplemining on Freenode.

Configure your mining client to eu.triplemining.com on port 8344.

Watch us break all mining records when you and all our other group members Flash Mob that block!

What’s in it for you?

Apart from helping your favorite mining pool crack a hell of a block we will give away a Radion HD 6990 Graphics Card for each 10 blocks found until Midnight (GMT) on Sunday August 21st.

Progress can be followed through Twitter as we tweet each time a block is found. Join us on Twitter @triplemining.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email and thank you for being part of the triplemining group of miners.

So within 3 hours you want to mine more than 10 blocks at difficulty 1805700.8361937 to hand out a GPU? Actually you'd need more than 50% of the net hashrate for this, as you want to mine 10 out of 18 blocks...

Good luck in beating deepbit! Wink

Your faith does not take bad luck into account! Tongue

Anyways, you'd need ~18 million shares on average or as many shares as in the current round (~6 million) per hour. Deepbit is just short of ~5 million shares per hour - are you really faithful that your infrastructure could even handle this in theory?

Other pools call "flash mob mining" "pool hopping" or "DDoS" by the way! Wink

Well, good luck nevertheless, still I would strongly suggest to rather switch to a hopping proof payout system after this round. Even people who are always complaining of pool hoppers have left your pool it seems, thusly becoming pool hoppers themselves.

Well hoppers is around 300Gh/s, but userbase should be 2Th/s.. So while hoppers are kind of welcome, we are going to need a hellmore hashrate.

Once 'users' are conviced that deepbit may not be the solution to all problems, and other pools can provide 'regular' payout as well i was hoping some would stay around ...

Even at 1805700.8361937 difficulty blocks can still be found at 100k shares or less ... Everyone knows that difficulty is a way used to average the gambling, it has no impact whatsoever on the numbers of shares needed to solve a block.

I do understand how it works, i just wonder at ppl that "rely"on luck or include it in thier calculations.
oh and no-one ever allows for "bad" luck only "good" in forum threads.  tho we all know statistically over time it will even out?

Good luck on your venture, i'll be watching to see if your prediction of good luck comes true Cheesy

That's funny, I was told in their IRC chan that there was already 1 card laying in wait, ready to give away, REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME and a SECOND 6990 would be added for give away AFTER 10 blocks.

**ONLY ACTIVE MINERS, DURING THE DRAW WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CARD.......

Looks like the plot thickens.....

Good luck TripleTiming .......I mean, Triplemining.
