This is very random, but I was thinking.. what if there was a coin that for a year or so, the block rewards increased?  And after that decreased of course.  It would give a lot of incentive to miners obviously, and if done conservatively enough, the value wouldn't go down that much..

I think that in the future years the surviving coins will be those that focus on anonymity, decentralization, strong security against both client and server attacks, as well as have fair mining algorithms that can't be overtaken by specialised hardware. Cheesy
