The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

So it will be Napster all over again and Visa will sue ISPs that allow users to run the Visa client (or even Bitcoin QT) and then ISPs will start shutting down users.  The protocol doesn't need the added heartache just pick a name that isn't a blatant rip off of an existing established payment processor.

You may as well call it US Dollar coin and call yourself the US Federal Reserve Bank and see how much shit you can cause for the community.

I am hesitant to invest and help out with the web dev until you change the name. It's too risky to be involved in a project that blatantly violates trademark laws.

If you want to join in, do no worry. Because Visacoin decided to do the project anonymously!!! He said Satoshi Nakamoto does not exist, neither does he. What do you say??? Let Visacoin show some evidence for the project...
