Hey guys, I wrote an article about Dogecoin.

Turn it into digital pocket money for kids otherwise it's gonna get killed by better coins, imo.

                   much future                          so time
        wow                          many predict                     such optummyizm
                         pretty shibe
so sit                                    rolz over 4 doges
                                  such Ð symbol                                        +1 interwebz

             awoooo                                                  woof
                                             very joy

I don't think you're going to solve the problem of kids using crypto to do bad things by crippling the poor shibes. You'll still need an admin account, etc. etc. So, then what's to stop the kids from finding out daddy's admin password and then going wild?

But, any time anyone says "for the children," my BS alert goes off. It's not your job or Mike Hern's job or anyone else's job to "protect the children". That's the job of their parents. Well, unless you're a rabid communist that thinks children should be stripped their parents like some reporters on MSNBC. The media will shill against crypto anyways, but nobody is listening anymore. The networks are seeing their ratings slashed in half. Nobody cares about their nonsense anymore.

Let the parents worry about their kids. Instead, let's worry about how we can get /r/girlsgonedogecoin to the front page of Reddit. Cheesy

But the whole "dogecoin offers nothing over..." just doesn't matter. Can anyone say WHY LTC is better than DOGE? Should we be asking the questions inverted?

Well, whether it's right for Dogecoin or not, I think the idea of digital pocket money which can be monitored and controlled by parents has value.

In other news, looks like online Dogecoin wallets just got hacked!

Anyone know more?

To be honest I hope Doge Coin doesn't have a future.

Nothing against it but the future of crypto is a serious business and should be treated as such.

Why do people need to be like this? Why can't there be a bit of fun along the way? Why does everything need to be so "serious"?

Dogecoin could find a niche. People are tipping in dogecoins on Reddit, and it's just a lot of fun. Why is there such a need to be a killjoy?

Wouldn't it be just fantastic if you got to the front of the grocery store, and the clerk asked, "How would you like to pay?" You responded, "In dogecoins." And they came back, "So wow. Such awesome. Very thanks." Wouldn't that kind of thing just add a bit of lightness and fun to your day?

Or perhaps we should just get rid of most technology and force people to use computers at the command line on a monochrome monitor? After all, computing is a serious business...

People you are way beyond delusional. It started as a joke and now people believe in it.

If you don't like it, stop reading dogecoin threads! It's not very hard to do. You just don't click on them. Ignore them.

Perhaps we should ask if we can "stop the 'stop the dogecoin spam' spam"? Tongue Cheesy

People you are way beyond delusional. It started as a joke and now people believe in it.

Check the network hashrates for Litecoin and Dogecoin. Wink A LOT of people are taking it seriously. A lot of miners are dedicating resources to the network. Whether we like dogecoin or not, it has become serious. It has millions of dollars of equipment backing it up. Why not just laugh about it? Sure it's ridiculous - but that's half the fun! Cheesy

OP is now cheering for accounts being hacked, you guys attacking dogecoin are pathetic.

Not at all, I'm against all cryptocurrency hackers and scammers.

I'm reporting what happened (didn't see another thread about it) and requesting further info.

It's like anarchism within anarchism. It's the very fact that it's a silly, meme-based coin that it's become so popular. People want it to die because they can't accept that. Unfortunately the rules of the internet are somewhat removed from reality.

As one of the first coins based on a modern trending meme, it's no surprise it's doing well. Memes come and go, however. It's an interesting concept to have a meme backed up by a currency; perhaps the two will fuel one another. Otherwise, like all memes, Doge will die, with the coin along with it.

However, dogecoin is propagating doge meme, and doge meme is propagating dogecoin..
