they take forever and if you're unlucky, your coins temporarily get lost in limbo. had to write a ticket but i got them back about 2 days later. maymbe try bter

bter is even worse... I withdrawed some coins 3 days and didn't get it until yesterday. and my balance shows I have 7k doge in order, but it's not there when I checked my orders. false hope, I tell ya.  Tongue

Sure, but still...

Then, once or twice I've been transferring alt-coins in the midst of a 51% attack or with low network hash because it's not the most profitable anymore. I can't blame the exchange for lost or unconfirmed coins. In fact, I have some GLD unconfirmed for more than a month now, when it forked or a bug was "fixed" or whatever.

Except if an exchange is scamming/stealing, I have some tolerance for their problems

Yeah. Relatively speaking, that is.

Cryptsy can take hours. MtGox can take months.

Cryptsy is slow, but you get your coins.
