Because today [Hello from "your region"] is trending on newbie forum I decided to join this trend. I'm from one of Baltic states (Eastern Europe) and unfurtionately have to admit that bitcoin awareness here are very low. I'm starting to feel like some kind of religious freak trying to convince all my friends how bitcoin is great and how cryptocurrencies are the future.
For some time I have had put ad on localbitcoins so I could help locals to obtain some bitcoins, but there was zero interest. I have found only one location that accepts bitcoins as payment.
I really trust in cryptocurrencies, I believe it's future of money and transactions. There has to be done a lot to simplifie transactions in regions without access to internet or technologies and micro-transactions has to be made fast and cheap, and if it will be done, maybe one day we will see bitcoin or other cryptocoin as national currencie of some poor country, and after that....

Cheers. Happy holidays.
