Howdy All,
I've been following cryptos for a while and have finally decided to try my hand at investing with them. Right now I am trying to use Bitstamp and would like to make a test withdrawal in USD. I've never made an international wire transfer before and I'd like some feedback to make sure I give Bitstamp the right information. There seems to be a surprising lack of information about this elsewhere on the internet - I just spent the last 20 minutes searching for something, to no avail.
Pertinent information: I bank with Bank of America in the US.
Here are the fields that I want to make sure I fill in correctly:
//This is all my personal information, name, address, etc. Bitstamp has filled it out automatically, so no worries. Beneficiary Account Name: Amount (USD): Currency: Beneficiary Account Address: Beneficiary Account Postal Code: Beneficiary Account Postal City: Beneficiary Account Country:
//I understand BoA does not use IBAN; but this also says Account Number. Do I enter my BoA checking account number here? IBAN / Account Number:
//I already know BoA's SWIFT so I assume it goes in here. SWIFT / BIC:
//I assume this is Bank of America Beneficiary Bank Name:
//The following fields confuse me. Do I enter in the address info for BoA's corporate center? Or should I just enter the details for a branch near me? Beneficiary Bank Address: Beneficiary Bank Postal Code: Beneficiary Bank Postal City: Beneficiary Bank Country:
If anyone can confirm this information for me so I don't screw this up, I would be really appreciative. Thanks much!
