Q: How do I remove posts from "Show new replies to your posts"?
A: You can't. Use the Watchlist instead (see newbie readme).

It's a bug in EasyList for Adblock Plus. All links (including "anchor" links) are blocked when immediately inside of a post <td>:

Complain to EasyList.

It's impossible for an Adblock Plus filter to block all of the forum's ads. Some ads can be individually blocked, but not all forum ads in general. They should stop trying or they're going to keep breaking things for their users.

A: You have to trust someone's trust ratings to be able to see them under 'Trusted replies'.

Whoops, just noticed I made a grammatical error: (fixed it in my post, might want to fix in the fourth question down in your list)

Also, I did just remember, mods might move some topics to "Meta" as I indicated or also "Off-topic". They also merge threads occasionally. They occasionally do delete, but it's very rare and if they've deleted your post, it's one of three things: completely nonsensical, a duplicate post of something that is already heavily under conversation and has its own thread (which you should have posted to), or it's a thread you should have known better than to post (abnormally troll). I'm often surprised by how *little* they delete.

They also merge threads occasionally.

Not sure if theymos or justmoon ever use this feature, but for mods it is disabled. But we do split threads from time to time.

I stand corrected, then. Maybe its not possible they are doing this. I know there's an option for "Merge any topic" that can be set for Moderators, but it might not be as easy to "undo" as the "Split any topic" option. It's also probably far more common to need to split a topic than merge due to the misunderstandings that can come from merging in a comment/post to an existing topic.

Merging is disabled for the most part, but there is a way to merge topics and I do use it occasionally, usually when someone makes duplicates of threads in different child boards and they all have replies that I don't want to delete. And yes, theymos knows about the workaround I use to do it.

You're right, that's what I get for posting while still half asleep.  I think my reading comprehension is at a 2nd grade level for the first 30 minutes after I wake up.
