Collections for someone who would like to improve English skills

Thanks for mentioning the Fit to Talk project, and that seems to be picking up slowly. I've also had some interest inthe Spanish/English translation project that is associated with it, and this gives members with the relevant skills and application a chance to pick up a few merits. It also helps the Bitcoin Talk forum by bringing Spanish crypto experiences into the Ivory Tower for the benefit of the English speakers. It has been suggested that I add an Italian translation board to the project, and I think that this could be interesting. So many English words have Latin origins, that it could be helpful for people learning English.

Pyramid quotes have already mentioned by Theymos or forum moderators (I don't remember exactly) that should be avoided as much as possible.

Bumping the topic, today, as my way to say good bye to the 2018 bearish year.
Once again, I hope that the topic is helpful for non-native English speakers. Hope that they will use some of those give books in order to improve their English skills, writing and reading in particular.

If you want to learn any language well, you need to live among the people who speak that language. Books will help, but they aren't going to do it all the way.

Make sure you live in the area of the dialect that you want to learn. For example, the English spoken and understood in New York City is way different than English spoken along the southern border in Texas. People almost don't understand each other. And Australian English is almost like another language.

My bad, forget to add the book's name, I was using the phone and got mixed up. someone recommended those books to me and i found here.

1. Right Word Wrong Word ( L.G. Alexander)
2. Idioms and Phrasal Verbs (Ruth Gairns and Stuart Redman)

BADecker Yes, you are right it speeds up the learning process but in this digital world we don't necessarily have to visit any place for learning the language. but I got your point.

And I don't struggle much when speaking in English except writing.

Using the books, then applying tutorials, lessons inside will help readers to have better capacity to communicate effectively in English. The most interesting thing of the book is its focus on different types of readers. Enjoy it, everyone!
