Been running my Jalapeno for a few weeks now on my Win7 PC with no issues (other than a rather high reject rate...) and decided to order a Raspberry Pi so that I can move it all to the garage. Installed everything according to
https://forums.butterflylabs.com/bitcoin-discussion/3238-super-tutorial-raspberry-pi-raspbian-cgminer-tightvnc-wifi-boot.html and I am able to
almost get everything working. Unfortunately, I feel like I have wasted a day since my miner is down for 9 hours now and there are no signs that I will be mining again soon.
The issue is that CGMiner does not detect the Jalapeno. The lsusb command shows that a device is detected which I think is the Jalapeno (I would paste the output here but copy/paste doesn't work with TightVNC, which is driving me #$@$%@#$%@ crazy). Also dmesg says that "ttyUSB0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0" and sometimes "eth0: hardware isn't capabale of remote wakeup".
I feel like I have tried everything, but haven't found the solution yet. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
TIA,
Jeff
