So why dont we rope in their competitors who are respected through out asia like the Asian age or something & get a more positive word out there.

Cuz what mostly TOI authors say about Bitcoin is far from the truth.

Remember the "12 days of bitcoin" program by Bloomberg, how that guy struggled to get 1BTC initially, and got along with it easily doing and buying stuffs with BTC
Media, Govt and the broader population will find it difficult to understand us initially.

I think 'The Hindu' has been reporting the news about Bitcoin aptly.
I made my first Bitcoin by exchanging the BBQCoin which I got as a free giveaway. I told my friends about this but no one bought in to me, but I didnt stop there. I gave them all my different BBQCoin wallet addresses and asked them to paste in giveaway thread. And then I had the last laugh.

I would say they used to be. Now too much commercialisation and the lime light has shifted to The Hindu from what I see.
