So I am currently mining:
Bitcoin
Unobtanium
CATcoin
DOGEcoin
DiamondCoin
BETAcoin
LiteCoin
PPcoin
CinnamonCoin
JouleCoin
LuckyCoin
NameCoin
TerraCoin
ZetaCoin
And probably a few I am forgetting at the moment...

I'm the average miner with a few decent GPU's and a small BFL 7Gh/s Jalapeno

Any other coins that look promising?

Are you mining them all at the same time?

Nope.
One SHA-256 coin at a time.
3 different PC's mining scrypt coins. sometimes all the same coin...depending on the profit %

So, you are a great miner.

Visit coinmarketcap.com and find out if you can prioritise any paritcular coin.

hi i am new to mining, i brought a rig and have it set up, i was wondering what would be a good coin to mine because theres so many. also how would i determine which 1 is a good coin and which 1 isnt. the last thing i wanted to ask is what make the price of these coins go  up and down.
