Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

My crystal ball tells me that some markets will go up, and some will go down.  The bitcoin market?  Hmm...it is so blurry...

Bitcoins will skyrocket soon. There seems to be a delay on some of the articles being prepared about Bitconf.

Well that's wildly optimistic.
Although journalists seem to write some pretty silly stuff when covering technical stories sometimes.. they're not silly enough to let themselves be used just to hype or pump some little group's vibe... especially if it looks like many in the group are just out to make profit from the extra eyeballs.

We may see a mention of it in something like wired.. but perhaps the conference will be just a side-note and the main coverage will be something like botnets and the GPU bitcoin mining trojans appearing.

If there ever was something newsworthy at the conference - we would already get a blurb here.

There already was one good news article, although not from a significant source. But apparently there are large and detailed articles coming from at least one or two significant magazines. Not sure if they are really related to the conference itself but they did come to the conference to gather some more information for the articles.

Regardless, Google trends made a major jump up yesterday which is always good.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!
