I guess MSI is going to start building units.  No price yet should be end of month.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

diskless boot only thing of interest here, i assume they will sell these rigs for more cost than their individual parts cost (so would be cheaper to buy and construct it yourself).

Though diskless boot only saves about 15$usd/rig given that's the cost of a 60gb ssd from china these days lol

Just did a quick search of the Armor cooler cards and it seems the cards MSI plans on releasing for their mining series have the same cooler as current Armor 580s, etc, and I assume temps and noise levels will be roughly the same.

I won’t personally be buying any of these as most of the features aren’t too impressive and I’m not going to pay extra for them. That being said, it’s still interesting MSI is going to continue to continue offering their products to miners with even more features than ever before, and I hope MSI doesn’t price these too out of reach for us here.

That's was good looking and seems like a solid frame. But only Diskless Boot that makes a bit different with DIY rigs frames. Another thing isn't giving much different with my current rigs.  Grin

Very Interesting, nice to get some turn key rigs that you can just swap gpus in and out instead of having to build them from scratch (saves tons of time)

and risking for 15$ per rig to have an entire farm to go down in case of server failure, if you really want to go cheap do it with USB Smiley

Not to mention that on the server side yo have to have at least  4+ SSD and good know how much RAM

Sounds very interesting. It shows how greatly MSI has benefited from crypto-currencies till now, and how interested they actually are in further maximizing the profits from crypto-mining.

AMD CEO Lisa Su has remained very optimistic regarding crypto-currencies within all these years and recently called the decrease of demand of crypto-mining "healthy":

https://www.thestreet.com/investing/bitcoin/amd-ceo-crypto-demand-cooling-down-is-healthy-14589943

Statements like these from nVidia and AMD assure that they're NOT gonna let the ASICs rule the mining. Behind the scenes, I'm sure they've lots of plans regarding the GPU mining.

Also seems they are trying to sell as much as possible before GTX 11xx generation release

cool,
I see the perfect combination of motherboards and frame rigs, as well as the cooling system applicable in the frame, looks simple but it should be tested whether the performance is good or not.

performance is all in the cards.  If I was to buy this I think i would go for barebones unit.

Yeah, i fan of MSI almost all my rig started from R9 series, this card imo has a good cooling system when compared to another brand with the same series or type other than that card looks dashing let alone R9.

I thought the same thing but the dimensions of this thing looks like it will only accommodate cards of certain sizes.
